About Nathalie Deschamps

​Nathalie Deschamps is artistic director of her company Les productions du 10 avril.
In fall 2020, she produced and directed JOURNAL DE CONFINÉS, touring the Quartier des spectacles, Jardins Gamelin and several other outdoor stages and webcasts in co-production with Maison de la culture Ahuntsic, with whom she produced Confitures de Noël in December 2020 in collaboration with Solidarité Ahuntsic. In fall 2021, with a grant from the Conseil des Arts de Montréal, she produced the Résidence de création d'extraits d'Albertine en cinq temps.

L'opéra selon l'œuvre by Michel Tremblay, set to music by Catherine Major, in which she wrote the reading and libretto as a member of the Collectif de la lune rouge. A Canada Council grant recipient, she will produce the world premiere next September at Théâtre du Rideau vert, an album in 2022 and a tour in 2023 of this first opera in joual.
