Four of our soloists, Amelia Wawrzon (soprano), Isabella Cuminato (mezzo-soprano), Sébastien Comtois (tenor) & Matt Mueller (bass), will be invited to perform Beethoven's 9th Symphony at the Maison Symphonique de Montréal on Sunday, July 28 at 2:30 pm.

The Vocal Art Festival on Tour - Verdun

The Canadian Vocal Arts Institute is delighted to be working closely with the Orchestre de la Francophonie (OF) this summer during the Festival d'art vocal de Montréal.

This collaboration between our two summer academies is a natural fit. One specializes in instrumentalists, the other in voice, and both aim to serve as springboards for the development of classical music careers. The Canadian Vocal Arts Institute is firmly positioned as a recruitment platform for our selected young artists.

The Hearing

The Orchestre de la Francophonie accompanied the 24 singers of ICAV's Class of 2024, in a unique orchestral event: The Audition. This was an opportunity for the audience to discover what goes on behind the scenes as our young artists showcased their talent to influential decision-makers from the world of opera.
